Booking FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions
I haven’t received a response to my email or phone call yet, what do I do?
Please be patient and treat our staff with respect. Our party staff will respond to your queries as soon as they can, Our focus on the weekends will be on the parties for that day and may not be available to answer your calls or emails. If you haven’t already contacted us by email, please send an emails to and check spam for responses. Party admin are typically available Tuesday – Friday mornings to facilitate party co-ordination.
Can I bring food or drinks from outside the rink?
Ice Zoo has a strict no outside food policy as we have an onsite Cafe. Please note a $50 per plate additional cost applies for any food brought to the party, $20 for additional cakes.
What about a Cake?
A $20 fee will be charged for any cake brought into Ice Zoo for Igloo Hire. The Igloo Hire option is not designed for a Birthday Party, please see Birthday Party package options.
What is the Maximum number of people allowed in an igloo?
Igloos have a maximum capacity of 15 people.
Are there other people on the during my Birthday Party or Igloo Hire booking time?
Birthday Parties and Igloo Hire operate during the regularly scheduled General Public Sessions, please see our Timetable for General Public Sessions.
Can we continue skating into the next session?
Birthday Parties and Igloo Hire are scheduled to co-ordinate with the Public Sessions and cannot be extended into the following session without prior notice and payment. Guests are welcome to stay in the Ice Rink and skate in the next session after payment at the front counter and provided there is another General Public following, however cannot be in the Igloo area as our policy is that the igloo is vacated for staff to facilitate the next booking.
When do I need to arrive for my Booking?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked session and sign in at the front counter on the first floor. Please do not arrive any earlier.
When will my previously ordered food arrive?
Previously ordered food will be brought out to the tables in your Igloo space 30 – 45 minutes into your booked session.
When do I have to pay?
A deposit is to be paid at time of booking of Party Booking with a final balance to paid 1 week prior to the confirmed booking date. Igloo Hire Booking Payment is paid on the date of booking, with a deposit for additional ordered food added to the booking payment, the final balance for food to be paid 1 week prior to the confirmed booking date.
